For extraordinary achievement in the face of the enemy. During the Wings~of~War: Normandy 1944 Campaign, =AVG=Redjoy, =AVG=Special K, and =AVG=Warren, distinguished themselves on the field of battle. For their heroism and extraordinary achievement, they are hereby awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.

Lt. Colonel Warren has distinguished himself as a leader in taking charge of the high-altitude bombing missions in Ghost Skies campaign in the France 1942 campaign. Because of his tenacity and leadership of the bomber element, the Blue Team was able to achieve victory against worthy opponents that had a good ground game in place and often a significant advantage in pilots. He undoubtedly spent many hours planning ingress routes and timing flights to match stated mission requirements, and preparing detailed target maps for his pilots. Lt. Colonol Warren is a credit to his unitofrm and the American Volunteer Group.

For tenacity in the face of great odds and distinguished service against the enemy, the Distinguished Flying Cross is hereby awarded. The American
Volunteer Group is very well represented in ideal and performance by Lieutenant Colonel Warren of the Second Pursuit Squadron throughout the Ghost Skies
campaigns, irregardless of the odds of success, or the mission assignment. This unquestioning perseverance to duty is the essence of the modern
fighting man; recipient is a model for all to follow, and the finest representative of himself, the AVG and the United States Army Air Corps.

For distinguished service as Operations Officer in the =AVG=, Major Warren is awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. Throughout the past months, Major Warren has tirelessly pursued his duties as Group Operations Officer, scheduling and coordinating with other squadrons for such events as the Normandy Campaign and the Carrier Ops competition with the B.O.P. Major Warren's efforts have not only lead to a great increase in inter-squadron cooperation within the =AVG= but also in the Group's interaction with other squads throughout the IL-2 community. His actions are in keeping with the highest traditions of the =AVG= and the U.S. Army Air Force.

On 13 February 2010, Major Warren, as part of the =AVG= USL team, distinguished himself against vastly superior numbers of enemy. His actions directly contributed to the success of the =AVG= in a key mission against a determined and previously undefeated enemy. Major Warren’s actions, in the battle, are in keeping with the highest standards of the =AVG=, and of the United States Army Air Force, and are an example of what a small, well organized, and motivated unit can accomplish against a numerically superior foe.

During the Italy Campaign of the 2009 season of Forgotten Skies, the member flew the requisite 15 missions and is hereby awarded the American Campaign Medal. This pilots' contributions exemplify the highest standards of the of the United States Army Air Force, and of the American Volunteer Group. He is a credit to himself, the group, and the uniform.
